HSHS Medical Group’s newest “Health Today” episode features Suzanne Clark, MD, a family medicine physician at HSHS Good Shepherd Family Health in Shelbyville, Illinois. In this episode, viewers learn why Dr. Clarke enjoys caring for patients of all ages in a rural community.
“I love rural medicine,” said Dr. Clarke. “I’ve been in practice for about 20 years and have seen how medicine has changed. HSHS is bringing medicine back to where we should be – which is all about the patients.”
Dr. Clarke completed her family medicine residency at Polyclinic Medical Center in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She completed her medical degree at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. In her free time Dr. Clark enjoys reading, cultural learning, history and spending time with family. She is passionate about living and serving in rural communities and was drawn to the Shelbyville by the warm and welcoming residents.
